Chilewich Raytray now available in white!
One of the most sought after items (if not the most) in Giada’s kitchen is now available in the color white! The Raytray by Chilewich is a 3-tier fruit and vegetable tray with baskets made from a nylon lycra mesh. When it first came out it was available in many colors, but when the white sold out some time ago Chilewich didn’t produce more, until now.
I talked with Ray a few weeks ago and he said white was coming by spring 2010, so I was surprised and excited to see it come out before the new year!
The white Raytray is available in limited supply at Chilewich.com, however it is not currently shown on their website. Please call customer service at 888-851-7130 to place your order. They will ship before Christmas so hurry and get yours while they last!
I want this soooo bad! Do you know how much it costs and how tall it is? Also, what opther colkors did it come in?

I just called Chilewich and ordered mine. $95 plus $5 for shipping. It comes with 3 all-white trays as pictured, and also another set of trays to change out - I believe he said they were green, black and white.
For those of you who are seeking a Chilewich Raytray … I have one — still in its box — never used, still wrapped in plastic. The mesh baskets are yellow, lime, and blue. It’s gorgeous. I just never had room for it…. I plan to put it on eBay today or tomorrow. Unless I hear from someone on this forum before I list it. I have never set it up; the instruction packet is included. My guess is it stands about 18 inches tall, and I’m not sure how wide. You can estimate the width by looking at the photo — proportionately, anyway. HI, i’M LOOKING THE RAYTRAY IN WHITE, BUT i EMAIL CHILEWICH AND THEY WROTE BACK., SAYING THAT THEY DON’T HAVE IT, THAT THEY WILL LET ME KNOW WHEN IT WILL BE AVAILABLE,,,
can somebody help me find the raytray?
I just called Chilewich and they said they don’t have any left. He that they used to make them but don’t anymore, and with the increased demand because of Giada’s show they are trying to recreate them and to call back in a month..said the price point would be around $120.
Called this morning and they still don’t have any available but they are hoping to have them by Summer for around $120.00
Call Chilewich just now, spoke with a person named Ray. He said that they should be availavle August and will email. He said they do have a waiting list…not surprised at that!!…hope we all get one in August!
I have a green/black/cream one that I will be putting up on Ebay today. I’ve never used it — it’s in the original box.
I called today and spoke with Ray who said they stopped manufacturing these years ago, but as they are in high demand they will be producing them and selling them BY August of this year! They price around $120, and he took my email to notify me when they are here.
