Edward Wohl is an award-winning craftsman who creates the most beautiful cutting boards I’ve ever seen. He is widely known for his bird’s-eye maple boards, but to better coordinate with Giada’s set kitchen, her cutting boards were custom made in walnut.

Edward’s boards come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes and no two are the same due to variations in the wood grain. They are extremely functional yet truly elegant!

I love my board! I ended up getting the curvy version that she is using on her latest G@H season.

  2. That’s awesome! I want the curvy one too, it’s beautiful. What size did you get?

I got the 11/16″ thick, 19″ x 27″ shaped board…had to go all the way. ;) For Christmas I’m tempted to see if I can get the bird’s eye maple in a smaller size like the one pictured above. I’ve seen the big curvy maple one on EI quite a few times. Just like Edward said the smell of the walnut does come out when cutting into juicy food but I haven’t found it to be absorbed in the food…yet. I love it and is showcased like art in my kitchen!

This is another great company to work with! I emailed them with a question and they emailed back with tons of pictures of Giada’s boards, along with a pricelist on all the special order items and their regular items. Any of Giada’s boards are 3-4 weeks wait since they are a special order. Can’t wait to get mine!
